Her beauty had him in awe. Not only the defining facial features that made her appear angelic, but her attitude, her innocence, the way she made him chuckle. She didn't fawn over him or treat him like a god. And he liked it.

This is not my first Eden Summers book, I became a permanent fangirl of hers after I read a Shot of Sin – however, this was my first time diving into the world of Reckless Beat and I can't believe I have been missing out on this series!! As series intro's go, Blind Attraction was freakin AhMazing. Mitch was the perfect package, Alana was his perfect match, but I honestly believe timing is everything. These two came into each others lives at just the right time – SHE was looking for adventure, finally making her way into the world for the first time, desperate to see what was out there beyond the constrictive walls of her upbringing and away from her neurotic mother. HE was finally at a point in his life where he was tiring of the endless stream of groupies and easy lays, he hasn't been a saint, he's a guy – a world famous guy who has sex thrown at him on a daily basis – and he has taken advantage of it, but now he wants more, wants to know what it's like to come home to someone who loves him, not his money. Alana was the first woman to ever make him work for it, she didn't just drop to her knees at his feet and worship at his alter, and that alone fascinated him. But when he finally convinces her to meet him for a drink, a disgruntled ex-employee throws a wrench into the mix when he attacks Mitch, but hurts Alana instead. Guilt makes him want to take care of her, but the more time they spend together, the harder he falls for the woman she is and what they could be together. He was sweet and caring, attentive and protective, but he is still a sexy as hell rock star who does his damnedest to seduce her while he has her. That was where most of the hottness that was this book came in. With her vision damaged, he has to rely on reaching her other senses and that shit was steamy. But it was more than that. Without being able to read his facial expressions, Alana had to focus on his words and actions to get a grasp of the kind of person Mitch was. It made it harder but it also made trusting him extremely important. She was more vulnerable than she has ever been in her life and she had to trust that he would take care of her, and boy did he ever. That doesn't mean that everything was sunshine and roses – he was still a guy after all and at the first sign of real emotion, no matter what his heart told him, he ran scared. This is where the rest of the band came into play. These guys weren't just band mates, they were brothers. They were there to give him crap about falling for a girl, but they were also the first ones to call him out for being a dumbass – especially Blake. Ooohhh I did fall in love with Blake, and that one scene.... dayum. Holy Hottness. Aside from Mitch, Blake was the band member we spent the most time with. We meet everyone and get a general feel for who they are, but we don't spend a lot of time with the other guys – which honestly just makes me that much more desperate to get to know them a helluva lot better. In the end, this was a fascinating way of introducing us to the world of Reckless Beat. Eden Summers proved to me once again why I love her writing and characters so much and I cannot wait to see where this series takes us next.

The way I feel about you frightens the hell out of me. The time we spent together... I haven't had a woman treat me the way you did since before I became a part of Reckless. You were blind, yet you could see me better than anyone else. You aren't after my fame, or my money, or my success. You're... You are beyond perfect. And I'm a fool for thinking I could ever let you go.”
