Blog Tour Review & Giveaway ~ The Favor by Elle Luckett

The Favor
by Elle Luckett
Genre: Erotic BDSM Romance

Katherine “Kit” Morgan was a try anything kind of woman. Where her heart led, her feet followed, so it was par for the course when she found herself in a submissive position with a female Dominant.
Comfortable and happy, she embraced her new life. She moved to New Orleans, took up residence with Mistress Kayla, and became a member of the club where her Mistress was a pillar of the small community.
When an old friend of Mistress Kayla's contacted her for a favor, Kit found herself packed up and shipped off to the Louisiana swamps with her companion. She never once expected to fall in love with the old antebellum home, let alone be drawn to the owner’s moody and mysterious grandson, Jared.
Before she had time to get comfortable, Kit discovered that the favor the old man had asked Mistress Kayla for included her talents, and a request she knew she couldn’t turn down.
Torn between obedience and desire, Kit agreed, only to discover that nothing in her life would ever be the same again.

Thank you,”
For what?”
Being my strength. I could never have made it through that if you hadn't been there. And I'm not afraid to admit that.”

I've read quite a few BDSM romances in the last two years – though I may be the only woman left who hasn't read or watched 50 Shades, nor will I for reasons I will keep to myself, I don't want an angry mob chasing me down Lol. Up until this point, Vanessa Fewings Enthrall Sessions have been my absolute favorite. This book has just been added to that list. This story was absolutely amazing, on so many levels, for so many reasons. Emotionally investing, sexually charged, completely addicting from start to finish. The chemistry between Kit and Jared was off the charts, the 'scenes' were intense and undeniably panty-melting, the connections and trust that is formed is impossible to miss, and Jared's introduction into the world of BDSM was a thing of beauty and all of that barely scratches the surface of all that you will encounter in this book. The journey that each individual character goes through will bury itself under your skin. They all learn things about themselves and each other – some good, some not so great, but all important to the to where they are headed in life. Every single chapter, every last page, all added light to the path the author was leading us on – there was no useless filler, no wasted time, it was all leading somewhere. I don't want to go to far into detail, this is one of those stories that you just have to take as it comes to feel the full impact of the emotions it will drag out of you – and does it ever. Kit was an amazing woman. She knew who she was, at least she thought she did – she knew what she wanted and she didn't care how the world viewed it, she just lived her life her way and she was happy. Strong and loyal, funny and sweet, caring, loving, and yes – confused at times. Jared was an enigma. Total dominant, he could brood with the best of them but he had a sweet, nurturing side that would melt anyone's heart, his path of self-discovery wasn't always smooth but it WAS completely captivating. Charles, Maria, Libby, Kayla, Luke – they all captured my attention and earned my love, all for different reasons. If I had any complaints at all about the book, it would be the fact that it is told entirely from Kit's POV – I would have given my left arm for just a little bit of time in Jared's head. As it is, I would STILL recommend this to ANY and ALL BDSM romance lovers – it is a journey you will not soon forget, one that I can see myself reading over and over, and one that landed Elle Luckett firmly on my One-Click-Addiction list. I cannot wait to see what she brings us next.

This was what love was.

It was accepting one another with flaws and all, and seeing the perfection in the imperfections. It was the unequivocal trust and faith in the other person. It was knowing that your soul couldn't live another day without them. That's what I'd found, and I planned to keep it close and cherish it

Elle Luckett was born in Houston, mainly in the mind of L.J. Stock. As the darker side of a generally light personality, she became the voice that would tell lustful stories, something born from a very vivid imagination and an amass of characters with some interesting habits and tastes.
