A three month modeling contract in Paris.
Two strangers drawn together by fate.
A stalker hell-bent on keeping them apart.
Selene Michaels is determined to never let anyone make her feel inferior again. After a painful divorce, she finds herself in Paris on a working holiday, hopeful that this will be the opportunity she has been waiting for. She intends to have fun and maybe find someone to flirt with; someone who will show her a good time, treat her right. What she does not expect to find is Remington St. Germain and his adorable son, Adrien. Remington is intense, devastatingly hot and a Prince Charming on the outside, but a dirty talking, insatiable devil behind closed doors and not the type to give up on something that he wants. Adrien makes her loss almost bearable. Selene soon realizes that life with Remington is not only interesting, but adventurous and dangerous. Someone is eager to keep Remington and her apart, and will go into great lengths to make sure that happens.
Remington is at a crossroads. He can either let Selene go, forget about her. Or pursue her with determination, just like he does everything else. Otherwise he will be right back where he was before she came into his life. The clock is ticking, and danger looms closer. He will do anything to save the woman who is fast becoming a part of his soul.
Sometimes life gives you a second chance. But what happens when danger threatens that chance?

~this review may contain minor spoilers~

She was only here in France for three months, but I'd be damned if I wasn't going to spend those days with her. Every single fucking one of them. I wanted Selene as I'd never wanted any other woman in my life. Call it lust or love at first sight; I couldn't care less about all those fancy definitions. All I knew was my sights were set on her and there was nothing I could so about it

After coming out of a divorce with more than a few scars (both physically and emotionally) Selene Michaels is determined to never allow anyone to ever make her feel inferior again. Bound for Paris on a three month working holiday in modeling, Selene makes the decision to finally live a little – flirt with a hott guy, maybe have a little unattached sex, spend time with someone who treats her right, all the things she has been missing out on for far too long. What she wasn't prepared for, was him, or his son....

Remington St. Germain may be known as Paris' sexiest single father but the only thing that matters to the wealthy, brooding artist, is his son Adrien. He stopped looking for a steady relationship a long time ago and the loss of Adrien's mother still weighs heavily on his mind, but one look at her and he's hooked. There is just something about her that won't let him walk the other way, even when he knows he should....

What starts off as a short-term fling soon turns to something so much more than either could have expected.
Remington makes Selene feel special, appreciated, beautiful, all things she never thought she would feel again, and his son soothes a part of her soul she assumed was permanently damaged – but how can she let herself get attached when she is only in Paris for three months?
Selene calls to a part of Remington he thought long dead and she is everything he and his son have been missing in their lives, even if he hadn't realized it, so how can he possibly let her leave?
Both are battling their own personal demons and insecurities, but in each other they find a peace they had lost long ago. But with the passion that blazes between them, there is also a threat in the air – an unknown danger that could cost them everything – even their lives.

We stayed like this, two souls locked in a bubble of intimacy. It was as though the demons that roamed our minds recognized each other, and instead of stoking the fire that caused them to burn, they stroked them, silencing them, calming them. For once in a long time, I felt peace settle over me. I could really get used to this.

This book took me completely by surprise and I think that was one of my favorite parts – it doesn't happen very often. There was a hint of insta-love, which generally drives me crazy, but there was so much more to this story so it didn't bother me too much. The sex was insanely hott, the chemistry between the two was impossible to ignore, the connection was easily felt, the POV's jump back and forth between Selene & Remington which goes a long way to connecting with both leads, there is danger, drama, and Oh My God the tears!! Adrien was cute as hell. Selene was quirky, damaged, funny, resilient, and REAL. I love when the characters I'm reading about have flaws, it makes them easier to connect to when they feel like their more on my level of not perfect. Remington was brooding, dirty, sexy & so exotically foreign drooling was inevitable - I loved that every time he spoke he would throw some french into the mix – sexy as hell. He loved hard, went after what he wanted, was possessive and passionate, protective and caring. He was the total package. Danger hides in every page and this took more than a few unexpected turns – it totally held me in it's grip from start to finish never knowing what was coming next. There was a ton of lovable secondary characters and so many layers to the story I found myself furiously going through the pages on the edge of my seat. In short – it was an incredible journey. One that I would recommend to all romance lovers and one that firmly landed Autumn Grey on my radar. Cannot wait to see what she brings us next.

I'm not certain what happened, but between one breath and the next, I was sinking, drowning in you. I'm scared by what I feel for you. How much I feel for you. But then you look at me with those eyes that seem to see right through me and I forget to breathe. Forget everything, but you.
