New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner kicks off a smoking hot, emotionally compelling new trilogy that returns to the world of her beloved Stark novels: Release Me, Claim Me, and Complete Me. Say My Name features Jackson Steele, a strong-willed man who goes after what he wants, and Sylvia Brooks, a disciplined woman who’s hard to get—and exactly who Jackson needs.
I never let anyone get too close—but he’s the only man who’s ever made me feel alive.
Meeting Jackson Steele was a shock to my senses. Confident and commanding, he could take charge of any room . . . or any woman. And Jackson wanted me. The mere sight of him took my breath away, and his touch made me break all my rules. Our bond was immediate, our passion untamed. I wanted to surrender completely to his kiss, but I couldn’t risk his knowing the truth about my past. Yet Jackson carried secrets too, and in our desire we found our escape, pushing our boundaries as far as they could go. Learning to trust is never easy. In my mind, I knew I should run. But in my heart, I never felt a fire this strong—and it could either save me or scorch me forever.
Say My Name is intended for mature audiences

I can't run. I can't hide. I can only continue a I am – hurtling at over a hundred miles per hour on a collision course with a destiny I thought I escaped five years ago. And with the man I'd left behind.
A man I tell myself I no longer want – but can't deny that I desperately need.
It's been five years since Sylvia Brooks has seen Jackson Steele. Their affair was short lived but intense and it brought feeling to the surface that scared the hell outta her-which is why she put an end to it. Events from her childhood have given her trust issues and a severe need to be in control-turning herself over completely to Jackson just wasn't an option. But now, she needs him. When the Architect on the Real Estate project she is heading up backs out with no warning at the last minute, Jackson is her last hope. Working closely with him will be hard, but she has no choice but to suck it up and handle it. She never could have anticipated his ultimatum though. He'll take the job under one condition-he gets her for the duration of the job. Naked and in his bed, under him, over him, anyway he wants her, whenever he wants her-she is his to command. She will do anything to save this project-but what will remain of her at the end? Soon she will find out that she isn't the only one of them hiding some skeletons in the proverbial closet-but what happens when their demons break free?
“Christ, Syl. I can see it on your face. This job isn't worth it. He's going to rip you to pieces all over again. He half already has.”
Let me start off by saying that I have not read the previous Stark series, and while it doesn't seem to be necessary I will be downloading it anyway simply because I fell in love with this author. I LOVED this book!! These characters were AhFrigginMazing, the story was fab, the chemistry off-the-charts hott, the secrets, the steam, the dialogue, the pace-I was completely enthralled from start to finish. We start this book off with Sylvia & Jackson already having an established past but through some well placed flashbacks we see where they started, and where they went wrong. We understand why Jackson feels so betrayed, why he decides to come after her the way he does now. But we also understand why Sylvia makes the choices she makes too, and why Jackson's ultimatum is so hard to swallow. It's amazing to me that the story itself really only spans a few days time when if feels like so much more than that with all the emotion this authors packs into it. If there was only thing I wish was different it would be a strong desire to spend some time in Jackson's head-I am dying to know what this man is thinking. I went into this knowing it was a trilogy so I was expecting a cliffhanger but what I got was so much more. I was happy, smiling, and totally turned on and yet.... there are still so many questions to be answered. So while I may not be screaming for more at the immediate moment, I am still anxious to continue. These two have my complete attention and I cannot wait to see where we go from here.
“This is the way it's going to work. You're mine. Wholly and completely. You're ready for me when I say. How I say. Do you understand?”
“Do I have a choice?”
“Do I have a choice?”
