To Chuito the apartment was a self-imposed prison for a lifetime of sins. To Alaine, the girl next door, it was salvation from her overbearing, religious father.
He was a devil.
She was an angel.
Two people who should’ve never met, let alone become friends, but it’s not until they give into the dangerous passion that’s been simmering under the surface for five years that things go to hell.
On the outside, Chuito ‘The Slayer’ Garcia is on top of the world. He’s successful. He’s wealthy. He's a champion MMA fighter surrounded by friends who support him, but they don’t know what he was before he came to Garnet.
Now his past is churning up demons he can’t ignore. Chuito knows he needs to go back to Miami to end it, but there's something holding him back, a single temptation he can't resist before leaving.
She’s the one drug he can’t give up…even if it destroys them both.
“To me you’re coke. Fine. Smooth. Perfectly white. Very bad for me, but so fucking sexy I don’t give a shit. It’s worth going down for.” – Chuito Garcia

“It’s a new dance. I don’t know the steps.”
“No steps. You always need rules,” Chuito complained. “Just listen to the music. Close your eyes.”
“They’re closed. I’m listening.”
“Listen to the drums. That’s the part you listen to. Feel it.”
“I’m feeling it.”
“No. Feel it like a heartbeat. Like life. You want it to be a love song, hear the sex in it. Hold me like I hold you.” He jerked her tighter against him as he said it, forcing her breasts to crush
against his chest and her dress to ride higher up on her thighs. “Like you need me.”
Alaine sucked in a hard breath and ran her hand up from his shoulder to his neck. The lust made her languid against her will, and when he moved this time, she followed because she didn’t have a choice.
“You’re not supposed to think when you dance. Supposed to just feel. To move the way I tell you to move.” He ran his hand up her back, pushing at the center of it until she arched into him, allowing her head to fall back and forcing her hips tightly against his. “Yeah, like that.
Better. I step hard. You step—”
“Soft,” she finished for him.
“That’s right. Follow my hand. Hard, soft, together we fit.” He loosened his hold on her waist, and she stepped back to the beat and then allowed him to pull her into his arms again. They did it a few times, the push and pull, stepping away from the heat and moving back together like they needed each other to keep breathing. Then he pulled her to the right and stepped to the left at the same time. When he used his hold on her waist to force her back, she stepped so that her feet were between his. He fit the two of them back together like a puzzle piece again, with his leg pressed so intimately between her thighs it was making her ache. She arched her hips on instinct, and he hummed in approval. “Bueno, asi mismo. Move them like
God made you to move them. That’s good, mami.”
Before now, they’d been dancing salsa, not this hybrid, more sensual form of moving that felt like a guilty pleasure. The beat was the same, the steps were sometimes the same, but this was so much more intimate. A tease. A candy-coated sin that wasn’t a sin because it was labeled dancing instead.
Alaine loved it.
She let herself be completely soft in his arms, moving where he wanted her to move, because it felt so damn good to let go of everything else and just be with Chuito. All she had to do was feel the drums throbbing and listen to the erotic, lulling sound of a man singing in Spanish about dancing with his woman.
They danced until the sun came up

Five years, and she couldn't stop herself from loving him. From wanting him. From thinking about him every waking moment. She hated herself for living for those times, late at night, when she'd hear his dreams turn into nightmares, and she'd have a reason to go to him.
The Viper (book one in the Untamed Hearts series) was the first book I had ever read from Kele and I couldn't be more grateful that she was brought into my life and this book just reminded me why. I didn't think it was possible, but I think I loved this one even more than the first-this series has been outstanding so far. It's so much more than your average badboy meets sweet, seemingly innocent girl who turns his life around. There is plenty of angst and drama, a shit-ton of fab characters, the dialogue is off-the-chain (I love when these guys start throwing their Spanish around-so HOTT), action and violence, not to mention crazy hott chemistry and sexy-as-hell intimacy. There is just so much to love and so much going on it just never slows down PLUS she gives us duel POV's which I LOVE. In this installment we actually do some time jumping, it wasn't at all confusing and flowed with what was going on in the current day, and most of it spanned the five years Chu & Alaine have known each other. It gave us a better understanding of the evolution of their relationship and there was no misunderstanding why Chu put off giving into their chemistry for so long. That man.... I just wanted to hug him, console him, and yeah-jump him. He has definitely had a hard-knock life but he doesn't let it drown him. Alaine took me a bit by surprise, from the little glimpses we got of her in The Viper, her character turned out to be so much more than I was anticipating which was wicked fun. The ending was another nice little surprise, and totally fitting for everyone involved. It had a sort of cliffy feel, but not for our H/h. No, they didn't run off into the sunset, but considering the life Chu has lead so far, a hearts and flowers ending would have been completely unrealistic for him. In the end, this was a fantastic addition to an already awesome series and if Kele wasn't already sitting pretty on top of my hott romance One-Click-Addiction List then this would have landed her there. Soooo glad we got Chu's story <3 font="">3>
she needed so much more than just his touch.
She wanted to feel him in her.
Fusing the two of them together until it seared their souls to the point that nothing could pull them apart.

A freckle faced, redhead born and raised in Hawaii, Kele Moon has always been a bit of a sore thumb and has come to enjoy the novelty of it. She thrives off pushing the envelope and finding ways to make the impossible work in her story telling. With a mad passion for romance, she adores the art of falling in love. The only rules she believes in is that, in love there are no rules and true love knows no bounds.
So obsessed is she with the beauty of romance and the novelty of creating it she’s lost in her own wonder world most of the time. Thankfully she married her own dark, handsome, brooding hero who had infinite patience for her airy ways and attempts to keep her grounded. When she leaves her keys in the refrigerator or her cell phone in the oven he’s usually there to save her from herself. The two of them now reside in Florida with their three beautiful children who make their lives both fun and challenging in equal parts–They wouldn’t have it any other way.

Five quirks I have that others may not know about
1) I hate bananas. Like with a passion. HATE THEM! Even growing up in Hawaii, I hate them. When my mother was pregnant with me, she only got sick one time. When she ate a banana and it made her SOOOOO ill that she was never able to eat them again. Did I mention I hate bananas?
2) I asked my husband what some of my quirks were and he said. . . Your weird thing where you like some things, but only in certain ways. For example, I like nuts, but I don’t like nuts in things (Like cookies or brownies) or on things like sundaes, unless it’s a salad, then it’s okay . . . Which drives him crazy, but makes perfect sense to me.
3) I rarely drive. I am very ADD and will often get turned around easily. So while I CAN drive, it’s very rare that I do. Good thing I’m an author and work from home. LOL!
4) My name is pronounced Kelly. . . But people are often so impressed with it pronounced Kee-lee that I have truly considered just going by Kee-Lee even though I’ve gone by it sounding like Kelly since I was born. There’s something so much cooler about Kee-Lee, I’ll have to agree. . . LOL!
5) I’m a pantser writer, which means I write by the seat of my pants. I just come up with a basic idea and the characters sort of write themselves. So when people ask me questions about future books, more often than not, I don’t know the answers any more than they do.
