Emmy London is a private investigator by choice and a time traveler by chance. Her super secret ability enables her to go back in time to solve mysteries, but not change the past. The one caveat is that she can't use it for personal gain; the one mystery she can't solve is that of her past.
Follow Emmy as she tests the limits of her curse, writes her own rules, and learns that 'not-a-dates' can become relationships she never wanted all the while drinking lots of coffee.
These sexy humorous mysteries can be read as standalone novellas even as the characters evolve.
Life has never been easy for Emmy London. Raised in foster homes, she learned to never get too comfortable, to never let anyone in. When her classmate, Chloe Oliver, disappeared at the tender age of five, so did she. From that moment on, life was never the same. She kept a secret and kept her distance from everyone.
With the twentieth anniversary of Chloe's disappearance looming, Mr. Oliver sought Emmy's assistance, asking her to revisit the past in order to give him the closure he so desperately needed. As a private investigator, she was accustomed to facing unpleasant situations and sifting through others' lives. Unfortunately, this time to do that, she had to face her own.
Soon, she herself is being followed. A handsome stranger insinuates himself in her life. Everything she believed and thought she knew is called into question beginning with…can she turn her curse into a gift?
Her mission is clear, her destination is to be determined.
Yeah, he’d claimed her mouth once before, and she’d be lying to say she didn’t want him to do it again. Perhaps it was the investigator in her own blood that forced the words out of her mouth prior to filtering them. “Why? What do you want? Am I your person of interest?”
Brushing a stray piece of hair away, he leaned in closer. “Oh, I’m definitely interested in you.” She’d not even noticed he’d managed to unlock the persnickety deadbolt and turn the knob, thus opening the door, until she felt the wood give behind her. Her legs tightened around his slender waist as his arm caught her in the small of her back. “Trust me?” he asked.
She glanced away because there was a part of her that didn’t trust him. She didn’t trust anyone. Then, there was a side of her that felt the strangest comfort when he was around. He was soothing, and she thought that maybe she could trust him. She just had to let him in…to her house and her soul, even though she feared he’d already claimed both regardless.
Hesitantly, she nodded.

She often heard people talk about how they wished they had a rewind button, or how they could go back in time and change things. Sure, that'd be great, except, every action has a reaction. The past can't be changed or altered without repercussion.
That was fabulous- fun, sexy, mysterious and over much too soon. The whole idea behind it leaves you in a constant state of anticipation, throw in a mysteriously sexy hott piece of determined alpha meat with a sense of humor on a motorcycle, a spunky yet damaged female PI and you have my full attention. And let it be said, every town should have a Pretty Perky in it- I would never leave ;)
This guy was getting under her skin. When was the last time anyone had done that? When had she let anyone get close? Growing up in foster care had not exactly encouraged lasting relationships. Factor in her curse…and she was a lone wolf, with a bite to match.
Emmy has known all her life that she was different, growing up in foster care was bad enough, but add in her gift (or curse as she has come to call it) of traveling, and her life turned into a living nightmare. Emmy has the ability to travel back in time in her sleep, and while she hasn't always liked it, she now tries to use it to her advantage as a Private Investigator. As long as she follows her rules, she'll be okay...she hopes. As the twenty year anniversary of the case that brought on her earliest memory of her traveling approaches, Emmy finds herself attempting to once again solve the mystery that has been haunting her since she's five years old-who abducted and killed Chloe Oliver? As if she doesn't have enough to worry about right now, she has also earned herself a mystery man on a motorcycle by the name of Blaze. Considering her situation, Emmy doesn't do relationships-but Blaze can't seem to take no for an answer. She doesn't really trust him, she never trusts anyone, but she can't deny her strong attraction to him. But where did he come from? What is her after? When Emmy's investigation takes a dangerous turn, will she be able to find the killer before he finds her?
Whispering in her ear, he said, “Never said I wouldn’t fuck you once inside against your door.”
“This does not mean we’re in a relationship,” she moaned.
“Isn’t that the guy’s line?” he quickly retorted, as he unbuttoned and unzipped her jeans.
Slipping his hand in her lace panties, he growled. “Not sure I want our first time to be against your door.”
“And isn’t that the girl thing to say?”
I LOVE that this is gonna be a series, I see great things coming our way with this one- it promises to be exciting and completely unpredictable. I can only imagine the mysteries Emmy will find herself involved in, and Blaze is just as much of a mystery. It's clear there is way more to his story than we know at this point, and you have to wonder if he will somehow find out Emmy's secret or if she will eventually trust him enough to tell him. Letting people in caused her nothing but trouble from a very young age- as a little girl confused and scared by what was happening to her, so as an adult, she is very closed off about her nightly escapades. If he does find out, what will he say about it? Only time will tell and I'm very much looking forward to learning the answers to my many many questions.
There was a part of her that feared him. When he was around, the slight tugging within her suggested he was dangerous. Yet, the knots in her stomach, the tingling on her skin, and the skipping of her heart made her disregard any hesitations.
Wondering about what's next for The Traveler Series?
