Lucifer and his minions are out to take over the world, but there's more than money at stake when the Devil drives.

So what were you doing before deciding to be my angel?”
Mel gave a serene smile, knowing Hell would freeze over before she'd ever be his angel.

That was a wicked good time. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I signed up for this, but the thought of Angels & Demons working together, alongside each other, in an office environment with Lucifer himself as the CEO promised all kinds of trouble, and I'm always up for that. Turned out to be a lot more fun than I was expecting. The demons were quite funny with lots of surprises, the angels were very high on themselves and sorta snobbish where the demons were concerned- except for Mel. She treated everyone the same-Angels, Demons & Humans alike-sweet, kind, helpful, and just all around good, but down to earth. Luce's clumsy efforts at seducing her were surprisingly endearing and funny as Hell, especially his confusion over why she would ever shoot him down even though she does it time and again. It all made for an awesome read I had a hard time putting down.

You'll really help?”
“Of course. I'm an angel. It's what I do. Plus, I'm more than a little worried about what would happen if you banned caffeine from your office. I think Hell would be a happier place than here.”

Melody Angel has been sent to work at HELL by Raphael from 'Helpful Angels Agency' as an office temp. Hell Corp. is becoming an economic powerhouse under the rule of CEO Luce Iblis and its Mel's job to see exactly what his plans are, what he is up to, and prepare for a takeover by the angels-all without tipping Luce off to their plans or falling to his seduction. The last thing the angels need is to lose another of their own to the demons, but Mel is confident she can do this on her own. Luce's attempts to corrupt her are laughable at best, but it gives he a glimpse into his soul that surprises the hell outta her...and she has no idea what to do about it.

OH! Right after I feed the imps. The last time I was late feeding them, we had horny demons all over the place. Would you like to meet them?”
“Ah...horny demons? No, thank you, I think I've met more than my fair share already and...”
“I mean the imps. Didn't you ever wonder how we managed to hide our existence from humans and blend in so well?”

This book really was all sorts of fun with lots of characters to grab your attention, hilarious office situations, train rides from hell with an ending that shocked me. I will admit to a very small amount of disappointment over one teeny tiny little thing though. There was a certain something you are just waiting to happen, it doesn't come til the end of the book and when it happens it gets completely skipped over. I get it-really I do, that is not what the book is about, but with all the build up leading to it, I just missed it is all. It didn't take away from the story though and that last chapter just left me starving for more. This was a fab introduction to Author Demelza Carlton for me and I'm very much looking forward to more.

So, tell me, Luce. How good are you in bed?”

I can make an angel think she's in Heaven.”

"Good morning. Welcome to HELL."
Mel hates job interviews - and this one's shaping up to be the interview from Hell.
From the grumpy receptionist to the disturbingly demonic interview panel and the sleazy CEO, it seems landing her first job is the least of Mel's worries.
Can she make it out of the office alive without selling her soul?

Good afternoon, welcome to Hell...”

This is the brief introduction for 'See You In Hell'. It was short, but had just enough in it to grab your attention and amp up your curiosity for what's to come, Plus its permanently free so- win/win!

You're supposed to sell yourself.”
“Technically, this will be my first real job interview and my first paid job. I'd hardly call it selling myself. You make it sound so dirty...”
“Just think of something about you that's really desirable for the job, but that you might not like.”
“My boobs are too big?”
“Oh Hell...Mel!”

This is the story of the very first time Mel sets foot in Hell for her job interview. She was only supposed to go in and have a look around, see what kind of set-up the demons have going on in there, and get out in one piece. But a brief introduction to Hell's CEO, Mr. Luce Iblis, changes things. Before she even gets home from the interview, she's getting a call from Raphael at 'Helpful Angels Agency' letting her know they already called with a job offer and he wants her to go in there to be his undercover Angel. It takes some convincing but she finally relents.

Congratulations on your new job. We'll see you in HELL at nine on Monday morning.”

After this juicy little tid-bit your more than ready to jump into 'See You In Hell'. It's not really necessary to read this but its fun & free so why not?!

Demelza Carlton has always loved the ocean, but on her first snorkelling trip she found she was afraid of fish.
She has since swum with sea lions, sharks and sea cucumbers and stood on spray drenched cliffs over a seething sea as a seven-metre cyclonic swell surged in, shattering a shipwreck below.
Demelza now lives in Perth, Western Australia, the shark attack capital of the world.
The Ocean's Gift series is her first foray into fiction, followed by her suspense thriller Nightmares trilogy. She swears the Mel Goes to Hell series ambushed her on a crowded train and wouldn't leave her alone.
