Synopsis

Will their past determine their future?
Saint Ford has worked hard to achieve her childhood dream of becoming of nurse. Focused on her work and devoted to her patients, there’s no room for love. She doesn’t need a guy making waves in her calm, serene life—especially when he’s the unforgettable hottie who nearly destroyed her in high school. Dark, brooding Nash Donovan might not remember her or the terrible pain he caused. But he turned her world upside down . . . and now he’s trying to do it again.
Saint has no idea that Nash isn’t the cocky player he once was. Uncovering a devastating family secret has rocked his world, and now he’s struggling to figure out his future. He can’t be distracted by the pretty nurse he seems to meet everywhere. Still, he can’t ignore the sparks that fly between them —or how she seems so desperate to get away from him. But the funny, sweet, and drop-dead gorgeous Saint is far too amazing to give up on—especially since she’s the only thing in his life that seems to make sense.
When Nash discovers the truth about their past, he realizes he may have lost her heart before he could even fight for it. Now, Saint has to decide: is Nash worth risking herself for all over again?

5  Bright & Beautiful Stars!!!

Nash took my breath away. I can't believe I am saying this, but I think this is officially my favorite of all of the Marked Men.Which is saying a lot because I can't get enough of this series. Have I said this before...I think I may have. lol. I think it is, no, I know, this is my favorite because I could relate to both characters. There is a lot going on in this book. Abandonment issues, not knowing your own self worth, insecurities, a loved one with addiction, trust issues, loss, and heartbreak. Not just the kind of heartbreak a man and woman could have, but the kind that leaves you feeling like you can't go on...there is no way you can survive your heart breaking into a million different pieces. I can relate to all of the above. This book is beyond powerful.

"It's devastating when someone you think you can love ends up disappointing you in the end, so I understand where you are coming from." - Saint

Nash can't get Saint off of his mind. Which is bizarre because he does not do relationships, so the fact that a woman  could take up residence in his noggin' dumbfounds him. Nash is on Saints mind as well. He took up residence long ago and just when she think he is a phantom of her past, he walks back into his life. All the strength and numbness that she has worked so hard for, gets blown to smithereens. The fates have some magic to work when it comes to these two broken people. Nash and Saint are on the long hard road of self discovery and finding their strengths. But the question is... do they travel this road together and grow from their pain? That is all I'm saying because to say any more would spoil this heartfelt story. I pretty much highlighted the whole book...it was THAT Good.

"I wanted her to like me because she had a way about her, a delicate kind of sweetness that I wanted to wrap myself all up in." - Nash

And, of course, it was great to hear about the rest of the Marked gang. They are all such beautiful souls. They all have had  such hard times in life, but they have wholeheartedly embraced each other and have become a family. I wish I has part of their family. Their loyalty and love for each other are a rarity. Its funny because I have to remind myself that these people are fictional. They have become quite the opposite in my heart and mind.

Here is a little something to make your heart go pitter-patter. It is the  best line ever!!!! **Sigh**

"Fuck me, but your eyes could inspire men to go to war, to paint works of art, to rip their goddamn heart out of their chest and offer it to you without a second thought." - Nash

- Being that I read an ARC copy, the quotes I used may have changed-

About the Author
Crownover photo JayCrownoverAuthorPiccopy2_zps37a4d3cd.jpg I'm supposed to share interesting details about myself so that my readers get to know me so here we go in no particular order: I'm an natural redhead even though I haven't seen my real hair color in years, I'm a big fan of tattoos and have a half sleeve on either arm and various other pieces all over the place, I've been in the bar industry since I was in college and it has always offered interesting insight into how men and women interact with each other, I have 3 dogs that are all crazy, I live in Colorado and love the snow, I love music and in all reality wish I could be a rock star not a writer or a bartender but I have zero talent so there is that. I love to write, love to read and all I'm interested in is a good story with interesting characters that make the reader feel something. Thanks for taking the time to check my stuff out...
