Fairytales aren’t real…yeah…that’s exactly what Bianca thought. She was wrong.

For generations, the Frost family has run the Museum of Magical and Rare Artifacts, handing
down guardianship from mother to daughter, always keeping their secrets to “family only.”

Gathered within museum’s walls is a collection dedicated to the Grimm fairy tales and to the rare items the family has acquired: Cinderella’s glass slipper, Snow White’s poisoned apple, the evil queen’s magic mirror, Sleeping Beauty’s enchanted spinning wheel…

Seventeen-year-old Bianca Frost wants none of it, dreaming instead of a career in art or photography or…well, anything except working in the family’s museum. She knows the items in the glass display cases are fakes because, of course, magic doesn’t really exist.

She’s about to find out how wrong she is.

Silly girl. Of course your magic is good enough. Magic isn't about control or power. Magic is all about believing in the impossible. Magic is believing in things you can't see or touch. The desire...the make something true despite the laws that bind us all to the material world.”

I wasn't sure what to expect going into this, but I've always been a lover of fairytales so the blurb caught my attention and I was excited to jump in... It was so much better than I ever could have guessed. I want to lose myself in Everafter and never ever leave.

Rose and Bianca Frost ran the only children's museum in town: The Museum of Magical and Rare Artifacts. It focused mostly on items that came out of fairy tales and other rarely-heard fables from other countries. As far as Bianca knew they were the only museum in the United States that had such items.

Seventeen-year-old Bianca Frost is stuck in a rut. Every day is spent working at her family's museum of rare artifacts steeped in every fairytale known to man. The museum and it's contents have been passed from mother to daughter for generations, but Bianca wants more from life then to spend the rest of it stuck in a museum. What's the point? Magic isn't even real anyway so why the 'family only' rule? Or so she thinks... til a late night visit from a violent woman who attacks her mother changes everything she's ever known and Snow White suddenly becomes more than just a fairytale.

Come on, Mom. Really?”
A lot of these stories are actually true. Not so much with the Hans Christian Andersen stories. He made a lot of them up...thankfully. But most of the fairy tales in the Grimm books have spells woven into the stories.”
Oh, my God. Are you serious?”
I am very serious. This isn't a joke. Magic is real. These stories are very real.”

Bianca sets out on a quest to Everafter with her bestie Ming by her side. As she learns to use her magic and discovers herself, she comes across things that should never exist. She quickly learns that nothing is impossible, expect the unexpected and do what you must to survive. With the help of Ming, a few mysterious animals, new found friends Prince Ferdinand & Terrance, and armed with years of learned knowledge of fairytales, she sets off on the most dangerous adventure of her life.

All of this stuff is real. She went from not believing in magic to being completely surrounded by every magical item known (or unknown) in the fairy tale world.

From the very beginning this book gripped my attention. I loved how the magic of fairytales was woven into everyday life all surrounding a mortal, human girl. It. Was. Fantastic!! and the ending left me drooling for more.

When joined together, Cinderella's slippers grant the wearer her heart's desire. But whose wish will be granted?

When Cinderella’s glass slipper is stolen, Queen Felicia sends her faithful steward Terrance to the real world to retrieve his love and witch-in-training, Bianca Frost. The power of the glass slipper, when paired with its mate, and in the wrong hands, could ruin the peace of Everafter. Bianca must gather every bit of magic she has learned in the past few weeks to find the slipper and protect her new love. Together, Bianca, Ming, Prince Ferdinand, and Terrance venture deep into the heart of Everafter to seek clues as to who has stolen the slipper and why. Along the way, they uncover what happened to the Seven Dwarves after Snow White married the prince, but also learn the awful risk of tampering with black magic and the high price that must be paid for magic, even when used for good.

Bianca and Terrance’s relationship is put to the test. Through the pain of suffering and loss, Bianca must determine if following her gallant boyfriend into his faraway world is in fact her heart's desire.

Things are way worse on our side of the world,” Ming said.
I know. That is why my kind created Everafter, as you mortals call it. We wanted to get away from you. The violence. The killing.
The pollution. Yet, you always seem to find us, no matter where we hide.”

If I wasn't already in love with this series after the first book (First Frost), then this one would have cemented it for me-what an amazing journey this has been! Just imagine a world that actually exists, where all the fairytales you have read as a kid really happened-that is what Everafter is....only it's a lot more dangerous, kinda violent and completely unpredictable.

Then we must find the stolen slipper. We shall go on another whirlwind adventure,” Ferdinand announced.
We?” Bianca asked.
Of course. You weren’t expecting to go alone, were you?”
I don’t know…” Bianca muttered.
We’re going,” the prince said as he slammed his fist against his desk.
Oh boy,” Ming said.
You’re not doing this alone,” Prince Ferdinand argued. “We’re going and that settles it.”

First Frost focused mostly on Bianca discovering who she was, learning all about her family history and the fact that shes a descendant of Snow White. She had a life-changing adventure, made some new friends and fell in love.

Mom says I can go but only if you come, too.”
Hello?” Bianca said.
I’m sorry; I was lost in thought there for a moment. You mean to tell me that you need me to be the third wheel and on top of that go to a place that is the exact opposite of Disney World? May I remind you that we almost died the last time we went to Crazy Cuckoo Land?”

In Glass Frost Bianca returns to Everafter with Terrance at the behest of Prince Ferdinand's mother, Queen Felicia. Cinderella's glass slipper is missing and the Queen wants Bianca to find it, if both of the slippers fell into the wrong hands the outcome would be catastrophic. While one is safely hidden away at Bianca's family's museum, she must track down the missing slipper before the bad-guys find it's pair. On her journey we get to meet a whole slew of new characters-a Frog Queen, some evil witches, Snow White's dwarves, fairies (and they are NOTHING like Tinkerbell, let me tell you!), we get to encounter the Big Bad Wolf once again and that's just the beginning!! Danger and surprises are around every corner all while watching the relationship between Terrance & Bianca blossom.

All I see is the girl I love, who saved me from a fate worse than death.”

I have loved every single minute of this series, it appeals to the kid inside us all but has the claws to hold on to our adult attention span. I can only hope that there will be more books to come, there are sooo many more stories to be told-I feel it...or maybe I just need to know where Bianca's future lies...and Terrance's...and Ming's...and Ferdinand's...Rose & David's...I JUST NEED MORE!!

Come with me,” he whispered into her ear.
Terrance’s warm breath against Bianca’s skin sent a tingle of delight through her. She opened her mouth to speak, but all she could do was open and close her lips like a fish out of water.
He took a deep breath and let out a shaky chuckle. “I know, I know. It’s bloody insane and impulsive, but I can’t stop thinking about you. It’s quite maddening.”
