Recap: Wander Dust and Protecting Truth

First off I'd like you all to know that I didn't receive an arc copy of any book from the series. In search of a good book, I saw Wander Dust on Amazon. I absolutely loved the cover and title, so I picked it up. Upon reading it, I felt as if I had struck gold. You know the feeling when you take a chance on a book in a series, pray that  its amazing, and hear that magical choir singing in your head because you have struck gold? Well, anyways, that is how it is with me and how I felt in finding this series. With protecting Truth (the second book in the series) I found myself screaming at my Ipad. I was so devastated by the ending, as was Sera. I whole heartedly felt her pain.

*****   5 humongous wandering stars!!!

Lisa's Review: Seeing Light

With Seeing Light, I began as I finished with Protecting Truth..crushed. Bishop tries to make amends, but Sera questions him, as she does with everything else in the twisted world she was born into. As her gifts grow, Sera learns how valuable her team really is. Once again Sera finds herself racing back and forth through time trying to find answers to the deceit  and evilness that surround her young life. She has the weight of the world on her shoulders more than ever. There are people near and dear to her that she must save at all costs. As the story moves along, there is non stop action and great pain involved - including the reader. I must say, there were a few events that happened as I neared the ending that made me quite upset with the author. I was thinking, "There is no way it can end like this!" I kept a little spark of hope in my heart and lets just say Michelle had me grinning from ear to ear with tears falling down my face by the time I turned the last page. One last thing before I go... I am team Turner all the way baby! To be honest, I think I was already there in  Protecting Truth. I was in total denial. I felt I was betraying Bishop, but not anymore! ; )
